So any suggestions for alternatives for an astromaster 130eq? I am planning for buying one with an eq mount and I am pretty used to it even though I started in September this year.

Need a good one for astrophotography and visual. 2" focuser and parabolic mirror. f/6 for both planets and DSOs. Aperture minimum 130mm. Budget 40k

Astrophotography needs a proper mount. In many ways, it’s the most important part of your setup. Unfortunately, good mounts cost a lot more than your budget.
