We are planning a Perseid Meteor Shower watching event at a venue on the outskirts of Chennai on 2026-08-12T15:30:00Z→2026-08-13T00:30:00Z. The venue is approximately 2–3 hours from Chennai. We plan to leave after work in the evening and return to Chennai the following morning, before office hours.
The registration process will be similar to our star parties. This time, the venue will provide only night snacks and morning refreshments.
Please fill in the registration form with as much detail as possible. For privacy and safety, the exact venue will be shared only with selected participants. The venue has clean restrooms and four rooms that may be used for sleeping or freshening up. Separate shared rooms will be available for men and women.
As always, all costs will be divided equally among the participants. We currently expect the cost to be approximately:
Adults: ₹1,200 per person
Children below 12: ₹850 per person
The final amount will be shared once the headcount is confirmed.
In case the event is cancelled due to poor weather, the venue may charge a cancellation fee of approximately ₹250 per person. The remaining amount will be refunded.
Participant cancellations must be made at least one week before the event. Cancellations made after this deadline may not be eligible for a refund, since the venue and food arrangements will be finalised based on the confirmed headcount.
