Tried photographig the ISS with my telescope today(and failed).
Few lessons from today’s attempt:
- Need to stop moving the telescope around to keep the station in the FOV. It’s better to leave it drift so that there’s no trailing caused by the telescope movement - this is evident in the frames in the video…the only ones that are clear are the ones at the edge of the FOV when I stopped tracking.
- Need to bump up the gain a lot more and reduce the exposure time.
