Sharing a few pictures of the Milky Way that we captured during our stargazing event at Jawadhu Hills last year.
It was my first time attending such an event, and I was absolutely amazed by the beauty of the night sky. We started the day with solar observation, followed by a visit to the Vainu Bappu Observatory. As night fell, we spent hours hunting for various deep-sky objects, and it was an incredible experience seeing countless stars with the naked eye under truly dark skies.
These Milky Way shots were captured using a high-end smartphone without any filters—just by adjusting the ISO and other camera settings. It’s amazing what modern smartphones can capture under the right conditions!
