Milkyway from Chennai

I never expected that I would be able to capture milkyway from the city skies but I decided to give it a try anyway from my southeast facing balcony on OMR which gave some respite from the light pollution due to the sea view.

I captured 40 x 20s shots at 16 mm, 1000 ISO, f/4 with my astromodded canon 60D. Then I stacked them in sequator and frankly, was surprised with the details I was able to bring out after final processing in photoshop.

here is another shot of the milkywayand moonrise from my balcony. 62 x 25s taken with unmodded Canon 200D II at 11 mm, 800 ISO, f/3.2. Stacked in sequator and processed in photoshop.
