Hi fellow stargazers , I’m using a 10" GSO manual Telescope and I’m thinking of adding an Eq platform for it , which will make it as a tracking Telescope and makes it Easy for Long exposure astrophotography… Is there anyone who would build an Custom EQ Tracking Platform in Tamilnadu or India ? If yes please let me know. I’m searching for Making one Platform with accurate tracking ability and the process seems difficult. I want to know if anyone does custom builts for it , Thank you…
You can find plans for building one online, like this one here. @gvpaddy is our resident DIY guru and you can reach out to him for help as well.
I know there’s a person in Pune who builds these on demand based on your equipment and location - EQ Platform - Boon for Dobsonians ! | Pune Astro. I have seen 2-3 people using this and it works decently.
