This is a shot of the Cygnus region of the milky way, the region of the milky way which runs through the constellation Cygnus. The red bits of the photo are hydrogen alpha nebulae, namely the North America, Pelican and Butterfly/Gamma cygni nebulae. Shot from dark Bortle 1 skies in Pangong Tso, Ladakh

  • Settings: 8" exposure, F/3.5, ISO 6400
  • Total exposure: 10 minutes (8x75 secs)
  • Stacked in Sequator
